Dear Dinesh,
You don't have to thank me for anything kanna, Mrs.Praveena is one of those teachers who change students' lives, and one of those rare human beings you can't really find if you actively searched for them...it was my immense good fortune to have known her well, and to have been a recipient of her affection, which as far as I remember was always spontaneous and unlimited.
I am missing her very very much. Take care da.

Love

Anand Ramamoorthy

SARVAM SRIKRISHNAARPANAMASTHU!

I don't think you know me, I am Surjeet's sis and your mum taught me in Class IX. I know your sis through her blog...I wondered if I should at all say something since nothing I say can possibly lessen the pain of your loss...but still, felt I must. Your mum was an incredible teacher and she will always be remembered as one of the nicest people pass-outs from PSBB have ever known.

I didn't have the privilege of being taught by her either. But she set an example for all of us to follow. We share your loss.

Hey...

I am so very sorry. Words cannot express how I feel at this point. Part shock, part disbelief, part anger, part sorrow - the list could just go on and on, I suppose.

Your mother did teach me. Not just biology though. She taught me patience and forbearance through painstaking diagrams. Kindness through her activities with the Karuna club (I can still remember specific instances of taking care animals on campus under her guidance!). She inspired me so much that I had the Blue Cross' number on my phone and would call them in any time I saw any animal injured anywhere - they grew to recognise my voice at one point. If I can give credit to anyone for my increased compassion towards helpless creatures (which continues even today on campus), it would be your mother.

I won't give you lines and platitudes now - essentially I cannot believe them myself at this point, so I wouldn't insult her memory by heaping them on you. I will only say take care. May her soul rest in peace.
