I have indulged in extreme sloth in the last few days. I watch movies on my recently purchased laptop and when I'm exhausted with that, I topple off my chair and go to sleep.

Some warning bells are beginning to go off in my head. I havent picked up a textbook in two years. How am I supposed to just slip back into the routine of classes and exams? The subjects look alien to me : Managerial Economics, Financial Accounting, Quantitative techniques for Business Decisions....I'm clueless.

I'm in Bangalore for the weekend, celebrating my 23'rd birthday. I'll be back in Chennai on monday and then I have to get serious about the packing and the shopping.

More insipid posts later.

I really would like to say that I understand how you feel. I used to feel that way every year after summer vacation, not that it was ever much of a vacation. I always felt that my 'notes' taking skills had waned and my hand would feel really tired, just writing stuff down. But believe me, anyone who is that into self improvemnt never ever falls out of touch with the learning process. We are always learning, arnt we ? And hopefully your stint at G'bad will be less about the t'books and more about being practical and the last 2 years that you've spent as a SW engineer. Bah ! who am I kidding ? You are indeed going to be spending many hours staring at some inane textbook and wondering why you thought what you are doing is any better than what you were doing. Welcome to academia my friend.

You also know me as 'anonymous' and LR.
